Ruby's Strip Design Bag Pattern:
Ruby's Strip Design bag pattern allows you to vary the fabric used for a unique combination of strips 1 1/2" wide by 10" long or 2" by 20" for the larger bag. There are 2 sizes available - 7 1/2" x 8 1/2" and 18" x 15".
Materials Needed:
- 12-16 strips of fabric 1 1/2" wide x 10" long for the SMALL and 2" x 20" for the LARGE (scraps, fat quarters, etc.)
- Back and straps - SMALL: 1 fat quarter LARGE: 2 fat quarters
- Lining - SMALL: Fat quarter LARGE: 2 fat quarters
- Batting - SMALL: 1/3 yd LARGE 2/3 yd
- Fabric for pockets (optional) - SMALL: fat quarter LARGE: 2 fat quarters
- Batting for pockets - (optional) SMALL: 10" x 10" LARGE: 20" x 10"
- 1 pkg double fold extra wide bias tape
- Button, velcro or snap closure
- Thin cording for button loop, if desired
